Varroa Mite treatments are a regulated Class C Pesticide under the Pest Control Products Act and Ontario Regulation 63/09.

 To purchase this treatment, you will have to provide your VALID Beekeeper Registration, Pesticide License, Exterminator License or Pesticide Vendor Permit every single time you show up to buy a Varroa Mite Treatment.

We as Vendors must verify that you meet the requirements to purchase the Pesticidal Treatment and we must record your information.

Formic Pro is an improved version of Mite-Away Quick Strips (MAQs). Normally used as a spring or summer treatment for varroa mites, and safe to use with honey supers on the hive.

Be sure to follow all instructions and wear appropriate safety gear!

This product is temperature sensitive and should only be used in temperatures ranging from 10C-30C.

Formic Pro® causes mortality to both male and female varroa under the brood cap as well as to the varroa on the adult bees. Formic Pro® is to be used as part of an integrated pest management (IPM) program.
Formic Pro® is organically certified and eliminates residue risk, allowing beekeepers to use it safely during the honey flow.
