Refund policy

Our refund and return policies vary depending upon the type of product or service you are purchasing.

Lessons & Apiary Tours
We will refund any purchase of lessons up to 48 hours before the lesson is scheduled. Cancellations made after this time period will be refunded only under exceptional circumstances.

Honeybee Nucleus Colonies:
All orders of 'nucs' can be 50% refunded up until the time of pick-up or 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date. We do not accept returns of bees or used equipment. Your bees will be packaged in a manner suitable for transport in your vehicle. The customer is responsible for safe transport of the bees they purchase. We are not responsible for loss or damage to bees incurred after the customer takes possession.

Hive Rental:
Deposits will be fully refunded if your location is not found to be suitable for a honeybee colony. Once a contract has been signed and the colony(s) have been installed, no refund will be issued, unless the hive is ordered to be moved by a Provincial Bee Inspector. After the 1st year of rental, the contract may be cancelled by the customer, and billing will cease when the request to cancel is made.

Hive sponsorship:
Refunds will be offered on a pro-rated basis if required. No refund will be issued for hive sponsorships when custom artwork has already been made for a sponsored colony.
