Humble Bee was founded in 2013 by Luc Peters, a fourth-generation Hamiltonian whose passion for beekeeping was sparked by his lifelong interest in food production and biodiversity. Luc cares deeply about the natural world and is invested in making a difference for bees and the people who rely on them.

Humble Bee’s mission is to support healthy bees and a healthy beekeeping industry. To achieve our mission, we promote sustainable beekeeping practices and provide premium honey, bee products, beekeeping supplies, and beekeeping education.

We work with businesses who support and benefit from our local food production, nature-based education, and sustainable bee breeding programs, creating long lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships.
