Use these traps to catch small hive beetles, or check to see if they are present in your colonies. Simply place inside the bottom entrance or on top of the top bars and place a small piece of pollen substitute in the centre
SHB will crawl into the trap, but not be able to get out. The openings are too small for bees to get inside the trap.
