Entrance reducers have a variety of uses. Used primarily to reduce the size of the colony entrance during the winter, reducers can also be used to help weaker colonies and new splits defend their colony from robbers or pests.
These reducers can also be used to completely seal the colony entrance when you need to move a hive or close off a hive that is getting robbed
